Our structure fully relies on a voluntary blood donor program, meaning altruistic blood donations are the base of our activity. Dedicated and highly experient veterinary teams ensure the best practices are followed on the blood donor program. After ensure the donor is healthy and acceptance criteria is met, the blood donation day is scheduled. The procedure is smooth, safe and painless. Each bood donation allow the preparation of several blood components  like red blood cells, plasma or platelets , meaning several patients may benefit from it. These blood products are manufactured according to Good Manufactoring Practices standards and veterinary specific guidelines. Our specialized laboratory team ensures the screening of infectious agents, specific quality controls and a strict temperature control during the entire process, similar to any medicine preparation.
